What Makes NutriZing’s Pea Protein Work So Well?
“NutriZing Natural Organic Pea Protein Powder Works. Not bad taste needs a sweetener, I use a mix Pea and whey or adding a recovery powder plus multivitamins and minerals works well, better for digestion,am working harder at the Gym since I started using Nutrizing, will continue to use.” - David
Pea protein powder is made from peas, and we wanted to make sure that only the best quality peas are used in our product.
We source our peas from Canada, where the climate conditions are perfect for a great pea crop. The production process involves raw material selection and cleaning, followed by centrifugal separation, spray drying, metal detection and then packing.
The pea protein is made from field peas, which are the dry kind we make split pea soup with. They come in green and yellow varieties, and are naturally higher in protein (20-25%) than sweet peas (5-6%)—so it’s easier (and less wasteful) to make a protein powder from something that is already pretty high in protein.
We put a lot of thought and care into how we make the product, so when it finally arrives into your home, you get just the pure protein that you were looking for!
The easy resealable pouch is factory sealed for maximum freshness, and comes with a free scoop so you can conveniently measure your daily protein boost. A daily 30g serving will provide you with 24g of protein.
A Great Alternative To Whey, Rice, Soy or Beef Protein
“Very good protein product..An effective (and more healthy/allergen free) replacement for my old whey protein. The product arrived promptly and the courtesy follow up from the supplier was a nice added extra.” – Paul
If you are a vegetarian or vegan, or are allergic to soy, or don’t like whey….or just want to try a new protein, our pea protein powder is a fantastic healthy alternative!
It is an excellent choice of protein for those looking for an animal-free supplement. Pea protein is entirely plant-based, and contains absolutely no animal products or animal by-products. In addition, pea protein is hypoallergenic, which means that it does not have any allergy causing ingredients. No dairy, no soya, zero gluten, GMO-free and also caffeine free. This can be very beneficial to those who suffer from food allergies or sensitivities.
Workout Recovery, Sports Nutrition And Muscle Growth
Our pea protein contains all 9 essential amino acids and is a source of Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron and Zinc.
So it’s great for a pre-workout intake, or for muscle recovery and growth after a session at the gym…..or even if you just need the nutrition to support your hectic lifestyle.
Pea protein has a high biological value, meaning that the body absorbs it easily. It also contains a substantial supply of beneficial amino acids, including Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAA). Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, and around 20% of the human body is made of protein. A large proportion of our cells, muscles and tissue is made up of amino acids, meaning they carry out many important bodily functions, such as giving cells their structure. They also play a key role in the transport and the storage of nutrients.
Pea protein has similar protein content as whey, but it contains more of the amino acid arginine than whey.A study published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition in January 2015 concluded that ‘pea proteins could be used as an alternative to Whey-based dietary products’ when it comes to muscle building abilities for biceps.
Helps With Heart Health
Protein intake will cause you to build muscle and lose fat. An added benefit of pea protein is the ability to lower levels of ghrelin, which is a hunger hormone. So you’ll feel full for longer, and avoid food cravings
Plus, the fibre content can help lower cholesterol, and pea protein is also fat free. Some studies have found that intake of plant-based proteins decreased the risk of heart disease as compared to animal-based products.
But….How Does It Taste?
We realize everybody may not love the taste of peas, and hence we provide recipes to make it tasty. Our pea protein can be used in shakes, smoothies, on porridge or even in soups or cooking. Many users use honey or fruit juice as natural sweeteners to improve the flavour. You can also use it with a bowl of fruits such as bananas or strawberries.
